Symptom Checks and Stay Home If Sick
Check your child’s symptoms every morning. If they are experiencing any symptoms — coughing, fever, shortness of breath, body aches, vomiting or diarrhea, loss of taste or smell — they must remain at home.
Face Masks Required
Make sure your child has a cloth or disposable face mask for in-person learning. Wash cloth face masks on a regular basis.
Chromebooks and Internet Access
If your child does not have a Chromebook or laptop and/or reliable access to the Internet / WiFi, please reach out to your school to make arrangements. If your child is enrolled in the Virtual Learning Academy, you should reach out to the school in which your child was most recently affiliated.
Know Your Child’s Schedule
Depending on the particular reopening scenario, some children may be reporting to school daily, while others will have an alternate day schedule and others may be doing distance learning. It is important that families know what their children’s schedules are. They will be posted to the Skyward portal. If you do not have your Skyward login information, please email firstname.lastname@example.org or reach out to your child’s school.
